Presentation of the Microbiome Project Findings to Segamat Hospital and Segamat District Health Office

Professor Sadequr Rahman (Monash University Malaysia) and Dr. Jacky Dwiyanto (Research Fellow, UM) conducted a presentation of the microbiome project findings to the SEACO stakeholders, which are from Segamat Hospital, led by Dr. Faidzal Adlee bin Abdul Ghafar, Director of Segamat Hospital, and the Segamat District Health Office, led by Dr. Yeong May Luu, Deputy Director, Segamat District Health Office.

Microbiome Projects started in 2018 led by Professor Sadequr Rahman in collaboration with SEACO. We collected stool sample & saliva sample from the Segamat community including Orang Asli population in Bekok Sub-district.

Hopefully, this good collaboration will continue, and looking forward for more collaboration in the future.
