South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia – Basic Occupational First Aid, CPR & AED Training
On 11-12 November 2024, the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO) hosted an important First Aid, CPR, and AED Training at the SEACO Office, expertly conducted by the renowned CERT Academy. This comprehensive training session was designed to equip SEACO staff with essential life-saving skills and knowledge, empowering them to respond effectively to emergency situations.
The training covered vital topics, including Basic Occupational First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Participants learned critical techniques for providing emergency assistance, ensuring that they are well-prepared to handle any unexpected incidents in the workplace or beyond.
A special thank you goes to the dedicated CERT Academy instructors for their expert guidance, as well as to all SEACO staff for their active participation and commitment to making the training a resounding success. Their teamwork and enthusiasm ensured that the session was not only informative but also engaging and practical.
