South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia – Deepavali Celebration 2024
On 5 November 2024, the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO) at Monash University Malaysia hosted a joyful and festive Deepavali Celebration with a special activity and banquet for all staff. The event was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the spirit of unity and tradition during this vibrant festival of lights.
The celebration kicked off with a photo session, where staff dressed in their finest Deepavali attire posed for memorable photos to capture the essence of the occasion. This was followed by a delicious banquet, featuring an array of mouthwatering Deepavali-themed dishes, carefully prepared to reflect the rich cultural flavors of the festival. The delectable spread created a lively and welcoming atmosphere, bringing everyone together to enjoy great food and camaraderie.
One of the event’s highlights was the presentation of prizes for the Most Beautiful Outfit, voted on by SEACO staff. The winners were celebrated for their stunning attire, which added an extra layer of festivity and fun to the day.
With a strong sense of togetherness and community, the celebration successfully fostered a lively and harmonious atmosphere, reinforcing the bonds among SEACO staff.
