On 4 June 2025, the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), under the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, welcomed a courtesy visit from a delegation of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), led by Dr. Sitti Rahma Abdul Hafid, Research Officer at MPOB.

The purpose of the visit was to explore potential future collaborations, particularly in the areas of research and community-based programs that bring meaningful impact to local populations.

As part of the itinerary, the delegates were also brought on a field visit to gain a clearer understanding of SEACO’s data collection processes.

SEACO extends its sincere appreciation to MPOB for taking the time to visit our office. We look forward to strengthening this relationship and fostering further collaboration in the future.
