South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia - SEACO Community Engagement Committee Meeting and Research Findings Presentation Session 01/2025

The SEACO Community Engagement Committee Meeting and Research Findings Presentation Session 01/2025 was successfully held on 12 June 2025 at VIP Hotel, Segamat. The event brought together more than 60 esteemed committee members from various government and non-government agencies, including village heads (Penghulu), Ketua Kampung, and community representatives.

The session was further honoured by the presence of the following distinguished guests:

• Yang Berbahagia Tuan Muhammad Hafizuddin Abd Jalal, Assistant District Officer, Segamat District Office
• Yang Berbahagia Dr. Faidzal Adlee Bin Abdul Ghafar, Director, Segamat Hospital
• Yang Berusaha Insp. Muhammad Hanaffi bin Ghazali, Head of Segamat Police Station
• Yang Berusaha Dr. Mohd Nafis bin Sahiran, Public Health Specialist, Segamat District Health Office (PKD)

This meeting served as an important platform for committee members to share insights, exchange ideas, and present the latest developments and findings from SEACO’s ongoing projects. It also provided space for discussions on future initiatives aimed at improving community well-being.

Throughout the session, participants offered a variety of constructive feedback and suggestions, demonstrating their strong commitment to supporting SEACO’s mission of fostering a healthier community.
