SEACO, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, Singapore Global Health Film Festival 2026

Representatives from the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO) attended the Singapore Global Health Film Festival 2026, which took place on 27–28 January 2026, from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm at The Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium, Academia, SGH Campus, Singapore. The programme was organised by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute.

The festival brought together healthcare professionals, students, policymakers, and partners to discuss pressing global health challenges, including infectious disease preparedness and climate-related health risks. The two-day programme attracted over 500 participants, many of whom attended both sessions.

Through documentary screenings and expert panel discussions, the festival aimed to deepen understanding of global health issues and promote cross-sector collaboration. The first day focused on outbreak preparedness, while the second day highlighted planetary health, climate change, and health equity.

SEACO hopes that the experiences and knowledge gained from the festival can be applied to benefit the local community and further strengthen efforts in healthcare and research.
