Chaah Sub-District Technical Committee Meeting and Engagement Session with Participants

On 6 May 2026, the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, organised the Chaah Sub-District Technical Committee Meeting and Engagement Session with Participants of the Heat Adaptation Through Community Approach and Research Project at Achi Gold Café, Chaah.

The session was attended by the Penghulu of Chaah, Mr. Fahrur Ariffin, village heads, SEACO Committee members, and project participants. The programme aimed to provide information and facilitate discussions regarding the structural intervention involving the use of white roof paint as one of the community-based heat adaptation approaches.

Also present during the session were Professor Tin Tin Su, the Principal Investigator, and Dr. Hamimatunnisa Johar, Research Fellow, who addressed questions and shared information with the 34 attendees.

SEACO, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, would like to express its sincere appreciation for the cooperation, feedback, and support provided throughout the session.
