South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, conducted a Project Briefing on “Heat Adaptation through Community-Based and Research-Driven Approaches” at the IPD Segamat Meeting Room on 6 November 2025.

The briefing session was chaired by ASP Mohd Hafiz bin Mohd Razali, Head of the District Management Division, Segamat, and attended by Professor Tin Tin Su, Director of SEACO. The session was further supported by Dr Hamimatunnisa, Research Fellow at SEACO, who presented an introduction and key information on the project.

The session was attended by officers from IPD Segamat, providing an important platform for information sharing and discussion in support of the project’s implementation within the Segamat district.

The briefing aimed to outline the project scope and objectives, particularly as several of the project areas fall within the Segamat district. The session also enabled constructive two-way discussions to ensure effective coordination and the smooth implementation of the project.
