Courtesy Visit by the South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia to the Segamat District Education Office (PPD)

24 July 2024, Wednesday - The South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, conducted a courtesy visit to the Segamat District Education Office (PPD). The visit was led by En. Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Haji Kechik, District Education Officer, Segamat District Education Office (PPD), along with En. Mohd Hafiz Bin Yatiman, District Education Officer, Preschool and Primary School Management, En. Hazni Bin Osman, Deputy District Education Officer (Student Development), En. Rosli Bin Puteh, Deputy District Education Officer (School Management), and Pn. Sa’diah Binti Mad Sa’at, Deputy District Education Officer (Planning).

The purpose of this visit was to provide an explanation and clarification about SEACO's operations and to discuss future collaboration plans between SEACO, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, and the Segamat District Education Office (PPD). The focus of these discussions was on career opportunities and graduate placement, technical and research collaborations, as well as community-based programs.

The courtesy visit was warmly received by all members of the Segamat District Education Office (PPD). SEACO and the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, expressed their heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Segamat District Education Office (PPD) for the collaboration. It is hoped that this good cooperation will continue to flourish.
