South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia - Field Methods in Anthropology and International Development (ATS3248 & APG4248): Farewell Ceremony
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Farewells make you reflect and realize what you have and what you've lost.
A simple yet special ceremony was organized to bid farewell to the students from Monash University Australia, who had become part of the SEACO family.
The evening began with a welcoming speech by Prof. Narelle Warren, setting a nostalgic tone for a night filled with memories. A heartfelt video compilation capturing the most cherished moments during their time at SEACO Segamat was shown, evoking mixed emotions—some felt sad to say goodbye, others were happy with the memories created, and time seemed to have flown by so quickly.
As time flew by, the exchange of words, the bonds of friendship formed, and the lasting connections despite the distance were celebrated. The hope remains that every student will achieve the objectives set for this course, paving the way for future success with a bright smile.
SEACO warmly welcomes these exceptional individuals in the future. Although the farewell dinner marked the end of an unforgettable journey, the spirit of unity and learning will remain in the hearts of all involved. A million thanks to all the students, SEACO staff, and the entire Segamat Community who participated in this program!
We hope to see you again in the future!
