South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia – Mini Cultural Carnival of the Orang Asli of Johor State 2024

03 August 2024, Saturday - The Mini Cultural Carnival of the Orang Asli of Johor State 2024, held at Segamat Central Shopping Centre, received an overwhelming response. The South East Asia Community Observatory (SEACO), School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, is greatly honored to have been invited as one of the agencies to collaborate in making the Mini Cultural Carnival of the Orang Asli of Johor State 2024 a success.

The event was officiated by the Honorable Dato' Zahari Bin Sarip, Chairman of the Johor State Agriculture, Agro-based Industry, and Rural Development Committee.

During the carnival, SEACO, Monash University Malaysia, set up an exhibition and offered career opportunities to the Segamat community.

A heartfelt thanks is extended to the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA), the Social Security Organization (PERKESO), and all the involved agencies for their collaboration. It is hoped that this good cooperation will continue in the future
