IBRO 2013

Functional Genomics, Behavioural Neuroscience, Molecular Morphology and Neuroimaging
The first IBRO Advanced School of Neuroscience was held at Monash University Malaysia from 1st - 30th September 2013. This one-month long program includes theoretical and technological lectures including hands-on laboratory sessions. The region’s pioneering work in live cell imaging, neurogenomics, confocal imaging, laser capture microdissection and behavioural analysis, were form part of the school. The cutting-edge sessions kept senior PhD students and junior post-doctoral fellows abreast with advances in key areas of neuroscience research, provided a platform for young neuroscientists to meet and access high-profile minds in neuroscience research.
There also be one day Neuroscience Symposium co-organised by NeuroMalaysia Society held on 28th September 2013, with lectures delivered by internationally renowned speakers from the Asia-Pacific region.
