Abstract submission instruction

Instructions for submission of an ORAL Abstract

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  2. Topics should be relevant to the conference theme and related to the field of medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health professions education. The four themes are :
    • Technology in Learning
    • Ethics and Professionalism
    • Addressing Challenging Situations
    • Partnerships in Education
  3. Name(s) of author(s), institution(s), and country of author(s) should be included in the abstract.
  4. The abstract should include the following: Background: Indicating the objective(s) & research question. Method: Explanation of the study design, Results and Discussion: Summarised essential results of completed analysis, Conclusion: Supported by the findings of your results. Keywords: Not more than
  5. Prior to abstract submission, kindly ensure that the following are agreed upon by all authors:
    • Aware that their names will appear on the abstract.
    • All authors agree to the submission and presentation of the results.
    • Understand that the presentation may be photographed and/or recorded during the presentation.
    • Understand that all possible patent and copyright issues are resolved before submission.
  6. Word count should not exceed 500 words. Otherwise, it will be rejected. The title and author(s) details are excluded from this word count. Please use font style Arial and font size 12.
  7. Certificate will only be issued to the registered presenting author, provided they have presented the abstract at the conference.
  8. Only one presenter is allowed per abstract. No more than two submissions is allowed per presenter.
  9. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and if accepted, the authors will be informed.
  10. If an abstract has been accepted for presentation, the presenter must register and pay the full registration fee by the stipulated due date. Otherwise, the abstract will be excluded from the program book and they will not be permitted to present their work at the conference.
  11. Presentation is conducted face to face. There is NO virtual presentation.
  12. There will be judging for the best 3 oral presentations.

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
