Principles for Responsible Management Education

The School of Business at Monash Malaysia is a proud Signatory of the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), a United Nations initiative developed in partnership with business schools around the world.

To transform management education and to develop responsible decision makers of tomorrow to advance sustainable development

PRME recognises the significant role of businesses and management schools in shaping the mindsets and skills of future leaders, and their strategic ability to be powerful drivers of corporate sustainability.

Since 2017, School of Business at Monash University Malaysia has championed the development of future business and community leaders through an education promoting social and environmental responsibility. The School remains committed to implementing the six principles of PRME and to advance social responsibility by integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into our education, research and engagement.

Our Commitment

At the School of Business, we are committed to research and education that addresses global challenges in sustainability, security and livelihoods. We seek to produce graduates who create and contribute to meaningful business transformation that solves real-world problems in Malaysia, the region and beyond. We have also realised that there is multiplied impact in partnership, and are purposeful in building a community of educators, researchers, students, alumni and industry partners dedicated to this vision.

Monash is one of over 800 voluntary Signatories worldwide committed to responsible leadership for a sustainable future, and I am proud of our PRME Champions for paving the way as all of us work together to make this a reality.
