In the Bachelor of Business and Commerce/ Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Digital Media and Communication, you must take exactly 144 or 192 credits points respectively.
Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Digital Media and Communication (B2027) allows you to graduate with two degrees. The Bachelor of Business and Commerce (B2026) allows you to graduate with a Single degree.
Yes, credit transfer students are accepted into the program. If your qualifications fit the program's requirements, we'll review your application and see if you're qualified for credit exemption. Please take note that every application is evaluated on a case by case basis.
We will determine if you are qualified for credits; however, it is very unlikely that you will earn any. Following SPM qualification, most 2 Years Diploma qualifications would be considered appropriate for direct entry into a Bachelor's degree without credits. However, we would evaluate your application to see if you qualify for any credits.
No, the October intake is for non-credit students.
To meet the major and minor requirements, you must complete eight (8) units from the major list and four (4) units from the minors list during the program.
In choosing your units, you must ensure that you complete no more than 10 units (60 credit points - inclusive of the exemption) at level 1 and at least six units (36 credit points) at level 3, including four units (24 credit points) at level 3 offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics. Yes, you must complete one of the capstone unit in the list. Only Accounting major have the option of substituting a non-credit internship for the capstone. All other majors are unable to substitute non-credit interships for capstone units. Effective from intake Year 2022 unit ACW3900 will be compulsory for Accountancy major students. There are nine majors available in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree (B2026).
A major requires 8 units, whereas a minor requires 4 unit. Visit the link for the information.
Minors are optional and can be completed for admission starting intake Year 2019.
Course B2026: As electives, students can only take a total 8 units in disciplines taught by different Schools (also depending on the student picking any additional major or minors).
Course B2027: As elective, students can only do one unit from the School of Business.
If you complete elective units at other schools, you will not be eligible for a major or minor. In your bachelor's program, the unit(s) will only be accepted as electives.

Yes, as long as you meet the unit's prerequisites. In the same way, you can take first- and second-year units in your third year of the program. Third-year level units require the successful completion of two second-year level units, while second-year level units require the successful completion of three first-year level units, in addition to particular unit prerequisites.

If the WES show ‘Invalid units" status, it is because you failed a unit that has prerequisites or corequisites. Hence, you would need to change to another unit option. Keep your study plan up to date with any modifications you made.
No, you will need to retake that unit again next semester. When you enrol in the unit, consider joining a Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) if one is available, to help you with the unit.
