eiHub Challenge 2023 is back on Campus!

The eiHub Challenge: Ideas for Tomorrow is an ideation competition inviting participants to present ideas on the many facets of entrepreneurial problems in the new world. The bi-annual Challenge hosted by Entrepreneur and Innovation Hub (eiHub), aims to bring Monash University Malaysia Students across all disciplinaries together to ignite their passion for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
This semester's theme; "Hack the City," featured 9 finalists from the School of Business, Engineering, Arts and Social Sciences, IT and Science - prompted them to reimagine urban life with innovative ideas for improved facilities, signage, and utilities.
Meet the acclaimed winners:

Ian Phang Khai En as the First-Place winner, earning RM 1,000 cash and a trophy for his ingenious concept, "Gerak," aimed at enhancing facilities for senior citizens.

Additionally, two e-Merit Award winners, Rachit Bhatia with "NaviPark" and Natasha Maya Chek Pa with "KK Cycling," received RM 500 cash prizes and exclusive Monash merchandise.
The 9 finalists were selected from a large number of proposal submissions spanning across various school disciplines and students of diversified backgrounds. The proposals were selected based on their relevance, impact and sustainability within the challenge theme.

The judging panel for this round's eiHub Challenge was a blend of academic and industry leaders:

- Dr. Karren Khaw Lee Hwei from the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia
- Nurdhaniah Ahmad Shafri, Program Manager of The Generator, Monash University Malaysia
