The Geopolitics, Development, and Governance (GDG) research strength takes contemporary disruptions in politics, economics, technology, and ideas as opportunities to question established configurations of power, privilege and perspectives that have sustained national, regional and global orders. GDG aligns to the Geopolitical Security challenge identified in Monash University’s Impact 2030 strategic plan for 2021-2030.
