- Western Military Power and Reordering Modern Asia, 1900-1979.
- An international co-authored book project collaboration under contract with Bloomsbury focused on the theme of embracing/containing China. SASS lead is Marek Rutkowski
- Getting in the Ring with the Great Powers.
- A research monograph by Marek Rutkowski that looks at the role of middle power peacekeepers in Indochina in the period leading up to the Vietnam War providing a new perspective to the conflict usually viewed as a big power proxy war.
- Monash Warwick Alliance education project on Global Groupwork: Living with Climate Change.
- Funded by a Monash-Warwick Strategic Alliance Education grant, phase 2 of this project involves 33 students from Monash University’s Australia and Malaysia campuses and Warwick University working collaboratively to produce articles on the project theme for the award-winning Progress on Political Economy website. SASS leads are Helen Nesadurai and Marek Rutkowski.
