SASS Students' Creative Work

Arts and Social Sciences students are given assistance in producing their own creative work, whether in the form of writing projects, radio programmes, or films. Below are some examples of short and documentary films made by SASS students:  

  • Tertemu Temuan (Agnes Ong, 2014)
    In this film, the Temuan people tell us what Kota Damansara Community Forest means for them and everyone else. Agnes Ong won the SETA documentary film proposal competition for this film in 2013.
  • I Am (Sheril A. Bustaman, 2013)
    A film about a young girl's search for her birth parents.
  • Cassandra (Lestari Hairul, 2013)
    A story about how the dreary existence of a lonely librarian is changed forever when she meets a stranger online on Chat Roulette.
  • Checkmate (Eng Sze Jia, 2011)
    Is the end of war only ever truly seen by the dead?
