Call for Industry Partners to Offer Projects with Monash University Malaysia
Propose Your Industrial Challenge to the Master of Applied Engineering Program
Do you have a real-world industrial/commercial/business challenge/problem that could benefit from fresh ideas and cutting-edge solutions? The Master of Applied Engineering program invites industries/companies/commercial/business sectors to propose problems for our students to solve in their academic projects.
By collaborating with us, you’ll gain:
- Innovative Solutions: Work with talented graduate students and faculty to tackle your challenge.
- Fresh Perspectives: Benefit from creative, research-driven approaches tailored to your needs.
- Talent Engagement: Connect with skilled engineers and build future talent pipelines.
Whether it’s in advanced manufacturing, automation, sustainability, or other engineering fields, your problem could inspire the next breakthrough solution.
Industrial-based projects are integral to the 1-year Master of Applied Engineering (MAppE) major program at the School of Engineering, Monash University Malaysia. It’s also part of the graduation requirement for Masters students. Under the MAppE, students must complete a 12-credit industrial-based project to fulfill the R&D experience requirement. Projects will solve industry-based problems using design and theoretical or experimental investigation. The projects must be actual industrial problems identified by industrial partners in the relevant field. The project may be undertaken either within the School or externally within the industry. In either case, an academic member of staff and a person from the industry will act as supervisors. We must cover real-life industrial experience in our MAppE program to enhance our students’ experience and nurture future professionals to be market-ready. That is why we welcome challenges/problems for projects from the industry.
Submit your proposal today and become a key partner in shaping engineering innovation.
