ECSE student received IEM Gold Medal Award

Fletcher Sarip (with his mother in the photo) received a Gold Medal Award at the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) 58th Annual Dinner and Awards Night on April 15, 2017.

The IEM Gold Medal is awarded to the best final year engineering student in each of the local institution of higher learning.

Fletcher is currently a software engineer at Quintiq, an industry leader in supply chain planning and optimization.

"The most important thing I have learned at Monash, with the help of very supportive and friendly lecturers and tutors, is learning on my own, which is what I often do now at work," said Fletcher.
