Bright Job Prospects for ECSE Students at Multinational Companies

Close to two-thirds of the Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (ECSE) students who recently did their industrial training in Malaysia interned at multinational companies such as Intel, National Instruments (NI) and Huawei Technologies.

Two thirds of these students (pic) were at Intel, and a number of them have been invited to go back to Intel as a Graduate Trainee after they graduate. For his Final Year Project, fourth year student Chin Ming Jun is extending his internship work at NI on AC-DC Power Supply Digital Logic through the NI Student FYP Cooperation Program, co-supervised by his NI mentor and an ECSE lecturer. Ming Jun has also accepted an R&D job offered by NI.
