Presentation guidelines

We are delighted to have you as a presenter at EEPM-5! To help ensure your session runs smoothly, please adhere to the following guidelines.

Oral Presentation Guidelines


1. Total Duration

  • Plenary Speaker: 35 minutes
  • Keynote Speaker: 30 minutes
  • Invited Speaker: 20 minutes
  • Oral Presenter: 20 minutes
  • Student Contributing Talk: 13 minutes

Please note that the total allocated time above includes approximately 3–5 minutes for Q&A. We encourage all presenters to reserve time at the end of their talk for audience interaction and discussion.

2. Presentation Slides
Please submit your slides in advance to the secretariat before your session begins. If you prefer to use your own laptop for the presentation, kindly inform the secretariat so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

3. Presentation Equipment
A clicker and laser pointer will be provided for your convenience.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

1. Please prepare your poster using the A1-sized PowerPoint template provided. [Click here to download the poster template.]
2. Ensure that all required information in the Header section of the template is included. You may customise the header background to match your design, provided that all required details remain clear and visible.
3. You may adjust the font style and size with some flexibility; however, text should remain easily legible from a distance of approximately 1–2 meters.
4. Pushpins or thumbtacks will be provided to mount your poster on the day of the event.
5. The designated location for your poster setup will be informed upon registration on the day of the event.
6. Presenters are required to be present at their poster during the Poster Session to discuss their work with judges, visitors, and attendees.
7. The RSC Best Poster Presentation Award will be announced during the closing ceremony of the event.
8. Please note that the poster presentation competition is open exclusively to students. Professionals are welcome to present their posters but are not eligible for the Best Poster Presentation Awards.

All presenters of abstracts (either poster or oral) at EEPM-5 are eligible to submit a full paper of their contribution to the special issues. All submissions will undergo the journal’s standard peer review process, handled by the guest editors.
