Kimberly Wan is an entrepreneur and former national ice hockey player, holding the Malaysia Book of Records title. She is the co-founder and CEO of Otomate Me, a B2B Automation-as-a-Service (AaaS) company based in Kuala Lumpur. A 2014 graduate of Monash University, Kimberly began her career in a venture capital-backed startup. From 2015-2017, she represented Malaysia in ice hockey, winning the Best Defenseman award at the 2016 Women’s Challenge Cup of Asia. Under her leadership, Otomate Me expanded across Malaysia and Singapore. In 2019, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Monash University, and Otomate Me secured the CIP Ignite II grant in 2020. Kimberly is also an accredited referee with the International Ice Hockey Federation, officiating in major events such as the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games. She aims to inspire others to pursue innovation in both business and sports. |
Shawn Tham is the Founder of UniLah, a student discount app that began as a project during his master’s studies and later developed into a startup. After gaining initial traction, Shawn made the bold decision to quit his job, bootstrap the venture, and successfully secured funding in Singapore. He now leads a team based in Indonesia and Malaysia. As a firm believer in the potential of Malaysia’s startup ecosystem, Shawn is committed to contributing to its growth, leveraging his experiences from the startup ecosystems in Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. |
Jeff holds the position of Vice President of Sales and is a partner at Mole. Alongside his primary roles, he operates a startup advisory firm dedicated to driving revenue growth. With over 8 years of comprehensive experience in sales, business development, strategy, and planning, Jeff has a proven track record. He has demonstrated his expertise by successfully launching new verticals at notable startups, including Fave and Foodpanda. |
Daniel Loy has helmed various roles over his career, encompassing leadership in corporate and social innovation, STEM education, and strategic planning. In the last 5 years, he’s been actively working in the social innovation space, advocating for greater social equity and educational reform, and championing social enterprises. Currently, he is the Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Hub at Monash University Malaysia where he is also a Senior Lecturer (Practice) with the School of Business. He is also Associate Director of Innovation & Capability Development with PurpoSE Malaysia, and the Founder/Principal of Danjumbuck Designs, a learning/design consultancy. Prior roles helmed include Director of the Centre of Learning & Innovation at Petrosains, and Vice President of Social Innovation with the National Innovation Agency. |
