About MoVA AI (Malaysia)

In October 2026, we released a new version of MoVA in the Monash Study app and on the web for Malaysia-based students. The new version uses AI to generate answers using approved Monash University information sources, such as our Monash Malaysia student websites.

Accuracy

Although MoVA has access to the most up-to-date information, it may still make mistakes. Before making important decisions (especially to do with enrolments, fees or deadlines), always refer to the official information sources provided.

Privacy information

To help MoVA provide the best possible answers, we retrieve data from your student record, such as your current enrolment status and your student type (international or domestic). This means that MoVA can provide answers that are specific to you.

Rest assured though, we take your privacy very seriously. Information and data you provide, or that we retrieve from your student record, is not collected or used by third parties for training. Even so, you should not type personal details into MoVA that could uniquely identify you (such as your name, address or phone number).
