After Your Studies

Please complete this form and submit the following documents to the International Student Pass Office at Building 2, Level 1:

1. Original passport;
2. Two copies of the passport information pages, current student pass page and latest Malaysian entry stamp page;
3. A copy of your departing air ticket* to your home country;
4. Optional: If your are moving to another Malaysian institution, you will need to provide these additional documents to ISP from the new institution:

• Offer letter
• Evidence of student pass application lodged (it can be obtained here).

*Please take note of the following important guidelines when arranging your flight departure from Malaysia, in relation to your Student Pass status:

a) If your student pass expires within 21 days from the date you submit your passport to ISP, your flight ticket provided must be scheduled three (3) weeks after the student pass expires.

Example: If your current student pass expires on 31 October 2025 (Friday) and you submit your passport to ISP on 20 October 2025 (Monday), the flight ticket provided must be scheduled three (3) weeks after the student pass expires on 31 October 2025.

b) If your student pass expires beyond 21 days from the date you submit your passport to ISP, your flight ticket provided can be scheduled three (3) weeks from the date the passport is submitted to ISP.

Example: If your current student pass expires on 12 November 2025 (Wednesday) and you submit your passport to ISP on 20 October 2025 (Monday), the flight ticket provided can be scheduled three (3) weeks from the date of the passport submitted to ISP.

Effective December 2020, if you are converting your student pass to an employment pass, you must exit Malaysia after cancelling your student pass.
