Postgraduate Coursework

This scholarship is :

• open to Malaysian citizen OR International student
• for entry into Master of Professional Counselling at Monash University Malaysia (full-time study only).

Each scholarship covers a partial tuition fee waiver for the duration of the course, the amount of which is determined by the School.

You must meet the following criteria:

• Must meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for the course. Selection will be based on academic achievement as determined by Monash University Malaysia.

• You must maintain the maintenance score stated in your offer letter.
• You must enrol a full load of 24 credit points.
• You are not permitted to change course.
• You must complete the course within the normal duration. No extensions will be permitted.
• You are not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of your studies.

You must apply to the Education Management Office of the respective Schools at Monash University Malaysia. All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered for the scholarship.

Closing date: Applications are open throughout the year. Scholarships are limited and awarded on a competitive basis.

This scholarship is:

• for entry into full-time studies on one of the following courses:
  • Master of Clinical Psychology
  • Master of Professional Counselling

Partial or 100% tuition fee waiver only.

• Meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for your chosen programme.
• Possess excellent academic record.
• Strong involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Selection will be needs-based, taking into account academic achievement and involvement in extra-curricular activities, as determined by Monash University Malaysia.

• You must maintain the maintenance score stated in your offer letter.
• You must maintain enrolment in a full study load of 24 credit points per semester, or the standard full-time load as prescribed by your course structure.
• You are not permitted to change course.
• You must complete the course within the normal duration. No extensions will be permitted.
• You are not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of your studies.

• Parent or Guardian's most recent month income statement
• Other co-curriculum certificates

All documents listed above are compulsory for the consideration of a scholarship application. Late applications or applications with incomplete documentation will not be considered.

For applicants whose parent or guardian does not have an income,  an income declaration letter, verified by the Commissioner for Oaths, is required.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and only candidates who are successful in their interview will be awarded the scholarship.

All scholarships awarded are at the sole discretion of Monash University Malaysia.
