M-CRInfra
Monash Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Research Hub (M-CRInfra)
Monash Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Research Hub (M-CRInfra) aims to develop innovative solutions integrating state-of-the-art technologies, circular practices, collaborative expertise, and outreach strategies that support, educate on, and enhance the resilience of the built infrastructure to climate actions. Research and innovation in climate-resilient infrastructure is essential because it enables the development of innovative solutions and strategies that can safeguard our built environment from the escalating threats posed by climate change, as well as reduce the impact of the built infrastructure systems and the occupants on climate actions. The Monash Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Research Hub (M-CRInfra), will contribute to this aim through four cross-strategic multi-stakeholder interdisciplinary focused themes: (1) Transforming Construction; (2) Future Mobility; (3) Extreme Hydroclimatics; and (4) Digital Sustainability.
About Us
M-CRInfra was established to develop and advance the capacity of research in climate resilience of built infrastructure, with the mission to support strategies for low-carbon living and initiatives to enhance the resilience of the built infrastructure in adapting to climate actions.
Themes
We focus on four cross-strategic multi-stakeholder interdisciplinary focused themes of Transforming Construction, Future Mobility, Extreme Hydroclimatics, and Digital Sustainability.
Professional Development and Services
We provide CPD-accredited events, courses, and services for the building industry.
Postgraduate Opportunities
M-CRInfra projects offers Master and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) opportunities under the four themes. Scholarships are available.
Collaboration and Partnerships
M-CRInfra has cooperated with universities, companies, and government departments to promote the development of climate-resilient infrastructure.
