Application to view examination script
Application to View Exam Script
The application to view an examination script should be submitted directly to the Campus Unit Coordinator via Student Online Response Form (SORS) after results are released for the teaching period and before the end of the first week of the subsequent teaching period. You are required to provide a valid reason for your request.
Points to note:
- The viewing will normally be allowed under supervision. A request for viewing an examination script held by the School of Science is independent from a request for remarking.
- After viewing the examination script, a concerned student can request to have their assessment remarked (following the Marking and Feedback Procedure) and seek a correction.
- A request for remarking must be made within six weeks after the results were released for the unit with the exception of units taught in semester 2, where the timeframe is no later than the end of the first week of semester 1 of the following year.
- Students who believe there has been an error in how a policy or procedure has been applied in respect to the marking process should follow stage 3 of the Student Complaints Procedure. A complaint cannot be used to circumvent the rules relating to remarking set out in this procedure.
