Conference Venue
The conference will take place at Monash University Malaysia's Main Campus. Its location allows easy access to shopping centres and other amenities within walking distance or via public transportation.
Getting to the Conference Venue
Participants can reach the conference venue via:

- Driving
Participants who drive to the conference venue may park their vehicles at the BRT or other neighbouring car parks.

Accommodation
Participants are recommended to secure their accommodation at nearby hotels which have convenient access to the conference venue. For commuting to the conference venue, participants can make use of the BRT Sunway Line, a swift bus transit system, and disembark at the SunU-Monash BRT Station, which is conveniently located opposite Monash University Malaysia. E-hailing services are also good alternatives to get to the conference venue.
International Delegates
Getting here from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) Terminal 1 (KLIA1) and Terminal 2 (KLIA2)
Kuala Lumpur International Airport is Malaysia's main international airport. It is located approximately 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur city centre and serves flights to and from various international destinations.
From the airport, participants can reach the conference venue via:

Weather
Malaysia has a tropical rainforest climate which is warm and sunny, along with abundant rainfall, especially during the northeast monsoon season from October to March. Temperatures tend to remain constant throughout the year, with average highs hovering around 30-33°C and lows at night dropping to 23-25°C. Please pack your attire accordingly for the warm and humid weather.
Time Zone
The time zone of Malaysia, Malaysia Standard Time (MST), is GMT+8.
Currency and ATM
The official currency of Malaysia is the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). It is advisable to have some local currency for small expenses, although credit cards are widely accepted in many places.
ATMs are readily available throughout the city, including at the airport, shopping centres, and near the conference venue. Most ATMs accept international cards with the Visa, MasterCard, Cirrus and Plus logos. Please be aware that your bank may charge you a fee for overseas withdrawals.
Please note that most ATMs distribute cash only in the local currency.
Electricity and Electric Outlet
Malaysia uses Type G electrical plugs, the same type used in the United Kingdom. The standard voltage is 220-240 V, and the standard frequency is 50 Hz. Visitors from countries that use different plug types may need to bring an adaptor. Also, if your device cannot handle 220-240 V, you may also need a voltage converter.
VISA Information
Foreign participants who need to apply for an entry visa to Malaysia should start the application process as early as possible. You can do this at the nearest Malaysian Embassy or Consulate Visa Office in your country or state.
