Anaerobic Chamber
SPECIFICATION
Model: DG250
Manufacturer: Whitley
DESCRIPTION
The Whitley DG250 Anaerobic Workstation is a compact and versatile anaerobic chamber. Its rigid polycarbonate construction ensures excellent visibility and maintains a controlled positive pressure environment. Key features include manually-operated portholes for easy access, an automatic gas refill system for oxygen-sensitive transfers, and a unique lift-off top for convenient sample handling and cleaning. The workstation utilizes Anotox for atmospheric conditioning, allowing for extended intervals between catalyst changes and improved anaerobic growth conditions.
The workstation serves as an incubator with precise temperature control and a fan heating system that circulates a humidity-controlled atmosphere. Standard safety features include alarms for power failures, gas depletion, or leaks. It has a capacity for 270 to 400 Petri dishes and dimensions of 810 x 760 x 635 mm, weighing 64 kg. The gas requirements can be met with a specific gas mixture, and it operates on a standard power supply. Additional options include an internal power socket and a single-plate entry system for rapid sample introduction.
