GAMIFICATION APPROACH (LEARNUX) IN LEARNING AND TEACHING OF LINUX

On 27 September 2022, Dr Gavin Wee Wei Yee (and Monash University Malaysia Genomics Facility, MUMGF), conducted a workshop on Dr Gavin's  award-winning app "Learnux".The workshop was attended by 20 staff and students across the campus. The primary aim of the workshop was to give participants (with little or no previous experience with Linux)  an introduction to Linux and teaching them tje usage of basic Linux command-line. The workshop also introduced a novel educational mobile app called “Learnux” which implements the concept of gamification approach in learning and teaching Linux.
