2025 SoS Early Career Researcher (ECR) Award

On 11 June, the School of Science ECR Committee held an award ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our young academics in their respective fields. The event recognised individuals who have demonstrated exceptional potential through impactful research and/or education excellence.

This year’s awardees were selected from a highly competitive pool of candidates, representing diverse disciplines and research areas. Our inaugural award winner is Dr Lee Yee Ying! Commendations were also presented to Dr Ang Chee Wei & Dr Patrick Tan Hock Siew.

The inaugural winner, Dr Lee Yee Ying, was awarded RM3,000

Commendations were also presented to Dr Ang Chee Wei & Dr Patrick Tan Hock Siew.

The commendation recipients, Dr Patrick Tan and Dr Ang Chee Wei, were awarded RM1,000 each
