Tell us briefly about your work or role in your current organisation.
I manage welfare programs (income generation, education and health) for our Orang Asli beneficiaries.
How has your study in Monash Malaysia helped to prepare you for the working world?
The research work helped me with project assessments, which I’m currently applying at my workplace.
Whilst at Monash, what type of opportunities did you participate in?
The “In Search of” field trips and Internship program helped me find a field of interest (Orang Asli and development) - a field I’ve been working in since my internship program with the Center for Orang Asli Concerns.
What do you love most about your student life at Monash?
I like the “In Search of” study trips, the internship program, and the flexibility of choosing a fourth unit from other courses, where I was able to take Environmental Science.
