Monash Global Campus Intensives (MGCI) – Prato, Italy
What it is Take Monash units at the Monash University Prato Centre in Italy during your winter or summer break. You will study alongside students from other Monash campuses in a distinctly Italian academic setting, with full local support. Credits and grades earned count directly toward your Monash degree.
Two program options are available: the Semester in Prato and Short-term programs in Prato.

Eligibility Open to students across all Schools.

Global Discovery Program – New York, USA
What it is An award-winning, non-credit bearing study tour to New York City over the winter break. You will engage with accomplished Monash alumni and influential leaders across industries, participate in immersive site visits, and challenge your own thinking on a global stage. This program is competitive; places are limited.

Eligibility Competitive application. Open to students across Schools.

Monash University Australia Global Study Tours
What it is Faculty-organised study tours run by Monash University Australia. As a Monash Malaysia student, you may be eligible to apply for select tours depending on your degree and the faculty running the program. These are typically credit or non-credit bearing and involve group travel with a Monash academic.

Before You Apply
Short-term programs are subject to individual course planning and unit availability at the host institution. Some programs may have additional eligibility requirements. Please see below for advice according to your School.
After You Get The Offer

| Budget for your trip | You continue to pay Monash Malaysia tuition fees. Programme fees, travel, accommodation, visa costs, and living expenses are separate. However, for short-terms programs classified as independent study abroad, you will pay tuition fees to the host institution. |
| Check visa requirements | You may need to apply for a visa. Supporting letters will be issued by the program administrator once your place is confirmed |
| Arrange travel and accommodation | You are responsible for booking your own flights and accommodation unless otherwise stated by the program. |
| Travel approval | Ensure your travel is registered with Monash before departure. You must be approved for travel in order to be eligible for travel insurance. |
| Funding assistance | You may be eligible for a travel grant. |
