Innovative Supervisor Training Series Launched - the ‘Mahaguru’

The Mahaguru Supervisor Series develops and enhances supervisory skills. Participants complete an Epigeum module and attend a seminar by a world-class supervisor. At the conclusion of the first round of the series, 6 outstanding supervisors will have shared their expertise across topics associated with the practice of graduate research supervision. Dato' Prof. Dr Adeeba Binti Kamarulzaman was our inaugural Mahaguru.

New Funding Schemes to Support Innovation - the Monash University Malaysia Innovation Sandbox (MUMIS) and Living Lab

The Innovation Sandbox promotes application-based research by funding tailored solutions to existing industry or campus community problems; the best solutions will be provided further funding and support to advance to the next level of product development. The Living Lab scheme, offered collaboratively by the Facilities Management Unit and Research Excellence Unit, will use our campus buildings or systems as a testbed for researchers, focused on dealing with climate change, energy and water security.
