The fundamentals of Pharmacokinetic analysis and modeling

This half-day workshop will be conducted by eminent pharmaceutics experts who will guide participants through fundamental pharmacokinetics to data analysis.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT

● Introduction to pharmacokinetics and Compartmental modelling

● Demonstration:

  • Drawing semi-log graphs in excel
  • Calculation of pharmacokinetic parameters such as Cmax, Tmax, AUC, clearance, volume of distribution, elimination rate constant and half-life

● Breakout session

  • Participants will be provided with a set of pharmacokinetic data and guided by facilitators to perform pharmacokinetics evaluation and elucidate the values of the associated parameters using Non- compartmental and Compartmental analysis

● Introduction to PK solver

● Debriefing and closing
