Continuing students are students who are pursuing two semesters of exchange or study abroad at MUM.
You may refer to the Principal Dates Website for our re-enrolment dates.
Global Intercampus Program (MUA students only)
You may proceed to enrol via Web Enrolment System (WES) when the enrolment for the following semester has opened.
Exchange and Study Abroad Program
Follow the steps below when the enrolment for the following semester has opened.
Step 1: Set Up Your Profile
Log in to the Student Online Request System (SORS) and set up your profile.
- Under "Courses 1," select your Host School, as stated in your offer letter.
- Choose the relevant codes from the following options:
  - 7002 – Study Abroad Postgraduate
  - 7001 – Study Abroad Undergraduate
  - 8002 – Exchange Postgraduate
  - 8001 – Exchange Undergraduate
Refer to your offer letter to select the correct option.
Step 2: Submit the Enrolment Amendment Form
Once your profile is set up, submit the enrolment amendment form through SORS to make the desired changes to your units.
If you wish to extend your studies after completing one semester with us, the process depends on the program you are enrolled in:
Exchange or Global Intercampus Program
1. Check with your home institution to confirm slot availability for an additional semester of study.
2. Once approved, arrange for your current Student Pass to be cancelled at the end of your current semester.
3. Monash University Malaysia (MUM) will issue a new offer letter for your new Student Pass application. You may need to return to your home country to process the new Student Pass and re-enter Malaysia when the new eVAL is issued.
Study Abroad Program
1. Inform us as early as possible if you wish to extend your stay and get approval from your home institution for the extension.
2. Once approved, arrange for your current Student Pass to be cancelled at the end of your current semester.
3. Monash University Malaysia (MUM) will issue a new offer letter for your new Student Pass application. You may need to return to your home country to process the new Student Pass and re-enter Malaysia when the new eVAL is issued.
Important Notes
- The application process for a new Student Pass may take up to 4 months.
- We strongly advise that you consult with the International Student Pass (ISP) Office for detailed guidance on the process.
