Stepping stone to a higher degree by research
The Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Commerce course can lead you to a research degree. If you graduate with first- or second-class honours, you may be able to enter the Monash Doctoral Program (PhD) without first completing a master’s degree by research.
To enter Monash University, you must satisfy particular academic, English language, and age requirements.
To apply for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Commerce, you must have completed at least one of the following:
- an Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with a distinction (70%) average or above in 24 points of studies at level three in the relevant area of business, or
- obtained a minimum average grade of 60% in a postgraduate degree in a relevant area of business.
