Dear Delegates, we are pleased that you will be joining Monash University Malaysia’s 2026 Agents Familiarisation Visit.
This year’s Visit will be exciting and innovative, and will aim to facilitate an open dialogue between the University and its representatives.
The following information is important for the visit and we encourage all delegates to read this thoroughly.
| Attire | We recommend packing appropriate clothing for Malaysia's hot and humid weather. Currently, the weather is approximately 30–37°C. Smart casual attire is suitable for all events. |
Airport Pick-Up Information | Please download the Grab services app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Two (2) promo codes will be provided to the agents by email for the airport pick-up and drop-off worth RM75 each. It is recommended that you opt for either JustGrab or GrabCar Plus. Any additional charges on top of the allocated promo amount are to be paid personally. The promo codes are valid from KLIA/KLIA2 to Sunway or Petaling Jaya and vice versa. If the Grab transportation service is unavailable during your arrival, you can proceed to the Metered City Taxi booth (after the customs checkpoint). You can then purchase a Metered City Taxi voucher to take you directly to the Le Méridien Hotel in Petaling Jaya. Please check here for further details. Notes: The transfer rates are approximately RM70 from the Main Terminal or KLIA 2 to your hotel. Please retain your receipts of the transfers for reimbursement purposes. |
Reimbursement of Claims | Agents will be required to fill out the reimbursement form and forward it to their company. The company must email this form, along with the invoice and receipts, to Nursofiya Athilah at nursofiya.athilah@monash.edu by 7 July 2026. Please allow 14 to 28 working days for our Finance Department to process the claim. |
Date of Check-in: 22 June 2026 Time: 3pm Malaysia Time Notes: Monash will have a separate check-in counter at the hotel lobby. However, there is no guarantee of an early check-in, as it is subject to room availability. The room package is inclusive of breakfast and Wifi. All other additional costs, including phone, room service and laundry, will be at the delegate's own expense. Le Meridien Hotel, Petaling Jaya, is situated 10 kilometres from the University campus. The University will provide a shuttle service between the hotel and all event venues. Buses | Please note that the shuttle service to the event venues will depart from the hotel following the schedule specified in the program. A staff member from Monash University Malaysia, Sandy Tan (email: tan.xianti@monash.edu, tel: +6010 912 6517), will be at the Hotel lobby at least 20 minutes before the shuttle departs to accompany you. |

✈️ Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and on your way to Immigration, you may wish to purchase a prepaid SIM card from one of Malaysia’s telco providers (Maxis, CelcomDigi, UMobile & Tune Talk) for your mobile usage in Malaysia.
After your purchase, please proceed to Immigration and to the luggage collection area to pick up your bags. Before reaching the exit, you will find the taxi concessionaire Airport Limo and city cabs counters. You will then have an option to buy a coupon for an airport limo or a city taxi. Please be advised that the fare can be paid by meter.
Please select the airport limo to get to your destination. Le Meridien Hotel, Petaling Jaya will be your accommodation for the next few days of your stay in Malaysia. You will be required to pay the amount up front. Please ensure to collect the receipt as it would be necessary for reimbursement.
Upon purchasing your coupon, please head towards the closest exit (Gates 5 and 6). The airport limo will be on your right side.

✈️ Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)
Upon arriving at KLIA2, you will have the option of purchasing a prepaid SIM card from one of Malaysia’s telco providers to keep you connected throughout your stay here in Malaysia.
After baggage collection, you will then need to make your way down to Level 1 where the transportation hub is. There will be 3 types of taxi services available:Coupon Taxi, Metered Taxi, and Premier Taxi.
Choose the coupon taxi option for a ride to your accommodation. Le Meridien Hotel, Petaling Jaya will be your accommodation for the next few days of your stay in Kuala Lumpur. Inform the person in charge at the counter of your destination and a coupon will be issued to you upon payment.
Proceed to Door 4 to exit, line up, and wait your turn for the Budget Taxi. When the taxi arrives, please pass the coupon to the taxi driver and he will take you to your destination.

✈️ Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, SkyPark Terminal
Subang SkyPark Terminal is a city airport located less than 20 minutes from Monash University Malaysia in Sunway.
Upon arrival and exit from the terminal, please proceed to the Transport Facility Counter, where you can choose between a budget taxi or an executive taxi service. Pick the budget taxi option, let the person in charge know your destination and proceed to the waiting area.
Subang SkyPark Terminal is generally small and it is easy to find your way around upon arrival.
