Respect at Uni Week
About Respect at Uni Week
Respect at Uni Week is part of a sector-wide campaign, aimed at promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and equality to prevent gender-based violence and sexual harm on campus and in our communities.
Join us for Respect at Uni Week to learn about how you can help make our university experience safer for everyone. This one-day campaign is an opportunity to learn about Monash's commitment to preventing and responding to sexual harm, identify learning opportunities and support services.
Embracing Boundaries:
Building respectful relationships
In 2025, we will continue to build upon the theme, Embracing Boundaries, because boundaries are essential building blocks for all respectful relationships. We’re all different, and we want and need different things. Reflecting on our boundaries helps us understand what kind of interactions we want to have with others. Setting boundaries for ourselves, as well as respecting the boundaries of the people in our lives, is essential in any healthy relationship: with partners, family members, friends, or colleagues. At Monash, we want you to join us in a conversation about the value of embracing boundaries and what that may look like in your life.
