Welcome to the PAG 2015 lunchtime seminar series powered by Pecha Kucha. The first session for this year will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 13 Jan 2015 in Seminar Room 6-2-14. There will be three presentations:
- Prof Sadeq Rahman, an eminent plant geneticist from the School of Science. With his vast knowledge on rice and wheat, he will explain "Why life is a bowl of cherries",
- Associate Prof Rajendran Parthiban from the School of Engineering will illuminate "Why 2015 is the international year of light",
- Assoc Prof Anil Gandhi, Clinical Professor of Surgery from the Clinical School in JB will explain "why robots will soon be operating on us".
They will each address their topics with 20 slides, set to each run for 20 seconds and finish their presentations in 6 minutes and 40 seconds according to the Pecha Kucha format.
