Monash Bridge Building Competition (Regional competition)

Venue: Plenary Theatre, Exam Hall 9-6-08
Time: 8.30am-5pm
The main objective of this competition is to inculcate greater awareness of the Engineering discipline. Through this competition, we hope to guide pre-university students along the path of pursuing a career in Engineering. Providing a hands-on approach to participating in constructing a lightweight bridge would provoke intense competition among students in a safe environment. Winners of the regional competition will be getting RM 3,000, RM 2,000 and RM 1,000 respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.

| 10.00am | First stage of competition (2 1/2 hours) |

| 1.30pm | Second stage of competition and testing (2 hours) |
| 3.30pm | Tea break |
| 4.00pm | Prize giving ceremony |
