Monash University Malaysia Welcomed into CFA Institute University Affiliation Program
Monash University Malaysia has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.The Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Major of Banking and Financial Management) has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the program. This program positions students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter, which has become the most respected and recognised investment credential in the world.
Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that Monash University Malaysia’s curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA examinations. Through participation in this program, Monash University Malaysia is eligible to receive a limited number of CFA Program Student Scholarships each year.
The Bachelor of Business and Commerce is one of the most prestigious business programs offered in Malaysia by Monash University. The major of Banking and Financial Management provides our students with a comprehensive formation of financial and technical analytical skills, allowing them to understand the business environment and chart their careers as investment professionals. The Bachelor of Business and Commerce program can be completed in six semesters with 10 specialisations, Banking and Financial Management being one of the most important ones.
