Genomics Facility
The Genomics Facility (also referred to as the Monash University Malaysia Genomics Facility - MUMGF) within the Tropical Medicine and Biology Multidisciplinary Platform provides next generation DNA sequencing services to support the research of Monash University staff and students from both Malaysia and Australia. The facility also supports a number of Malaysian-based and international collaborations and undertakes contract sequencing for external clients. Annual funding to support the facility is provided by Monash University Malaysia, which is supplemented through income from external grants and contract sequencing. Since the establishment of the facility in July 2013, we have over 100 publications and generated more than 1 TB (TeraBytes) of sequencing data (as of December 2017).
