In 2024, the tuition fees for the course at 1 year (8 units only) are:
- RM54,720 for Malaysian students
- RM60,480 for international students.
Prerequisite program:
If you have a prior three-year engineering or a science-related qualification, you'll need to undertake a prerequisite program, which will incur additional fees of RM6840 (Malaysian students) or RM7560 (international students) per unit for up to 8 units.
Three-year engineering graduates may be eligible for credit for prior learning, subject to approval. This can reduce the number of units and duration required to complete the prerequisite program.
Get an RM10,000 tuition fee waiver (RM5000 per semester) upon successful enrolment.

If you have a prior three-year engineering or science-related qualification, you’ll need to complete a prerequisite program (level 1 units) before proceeding to level 2 for a total of 96 credit points. Engineering graduates may be eligible for credit for prior learning, subject to approval.
If you have a four-year engineering qualification, you’ll only need to complete level 2 units for a total of 48 credit points.

Depending on prior qualifications:

- An Australian bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering, science, applied science, IT, or equivalent qualification approved by the Faculty.
- A minimum WAM 60 or equivalent.
Entry level 2: 48 points to complete | Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time
- An Australian bachelor honours degree, or equivalent, in the engineering discipline.
- A minimum WAM 60 or equivalent.
