"Discover groundbreaking insights into tropical biodiversity preservation at TBCG2026, where leading researchers unite to explore innovative genomic solutions for conservation challenges."
About the Conference
Join us for the International Conference on Tropical Biodiversity and Conservation Genomics 2026 (TBCG2026), a groundbreaking event that brings together leading researchers, experts, and conservationists to explore the richness of tropical ecosystems and innovative solutions for biodiversity preservation.
Our three-day conference will feature a dynamic program of oral presentations by field experts, lightning talks, poster sessions, and interactive panel discussions. This highly engaging format provides excellent networking opportunities for all participants.
The conference aims to address critical objectives in biodiversity conservation, including:
- Facilitating knowledge exchange among multidisciplinary researchers on global conservation challenges and genomic solutions
- Fostering collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches in the Asia-Pacific region
- Building public-private partnerships for conservation efforts
- Supporting the development of future leaders in conservation genomics
The event will be hosted at Monash University Malaysia's Auditorium 1, situated in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. Through this conference, we aim to explore how modern genomic technologies can provide crucial insights for preserving our planet's invaluable tropical biodiversity.
Conference Themes
This theme covers studies on the richness and variety of life in tropical ecosystems and habitats.
This theme focuses on research and applications in the use of genomic data, as well as other molecular tools to help conserve and manage species.
This theme covers topics related to biodiversity loss and biodiversity alterations across many dimensions, including genetic diversity. It differs from themes 1 and 2 by highlighting more on studies related to the trends and/or consequences of loss/alterations.
This theme will focus on stepping up for biodiversity conservation so as to promote the inclusion of societal movements (bring together experts, activists/advocates, policy makers or stakeholders to discuss innovative strategies and collaborative efforts).
