Monash Connect officially launched on 22 October 2026, marking a significant milestone in enhancing how students access support at Monash University Malaysia.

Beyond a refreshed physical presence on campus, Monash Connect introduced an enhanced digital experience with a new version of MoVA, available in the Monash Study app and on the web for Malaysia-based students.

Powered by AI, MoVA generates answers using approved Monash University information sources, including the Monash Malaysia student website, giving 24/7 access to information for routine administrative enquiries.

Staff were also provided with the Ask MoVA NFC card to make interactions with students easier and more convenient. During consultations, staff can simply tap the card on a student’s phone to connect them directly to the MoVA Virtual Assistant, directing them to access information and support more easily.
