How have your studies at Monash University Malaysia helped to prepare you for the working world?
The various types of lectures, assignments, presentations within 12 weeks in the semester was helpful. The curriculum is compact and this taught me to manage my time efficiently and learn to prioritise tasks. This is key in the working world because we will have many stakeholders expecting us to deliver and it is important to manage our time well so that we can achieve our goals.

I was President of Monash University Pharmacy Society 2013-2014 and student guide in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Yes, I went for four Professional Experience Placements (PEP) in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (Klang), Hospital Kuala Kubu Bharu, Klinik Kesihatan Kuala Selangor and Cosway Pharmacy TTDI. These gave me first-hand exposure to the working environment before joining the workforce as a Provisionally Registered Pharmacist.

The opportunity to go for a semester exchange at Parkville, Australia and experience studying abroad.
What is your career goal? What’s the difference you’d like to make?
I would like to succeed in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry as a therapeutic area lead, and help plan strategies that will bring innovative medicines to patients in need.
