Why did you choose Monash?
Renowned for its excellent programs and perpetual investment in research and development, Monash University was always one of my top choices for my undergraduate degree. Monash is one of the best universities in the world for engineering, and is also famous for its international vibe, with students from more than 100 different countries giving you the perfect multicultural experience, which I found highly appealing.
Did you go for any internships or work placements?
I had a three-month internship at Systems Solutions and Development Technologies (SSD-TECH) as a Products Design Engineer. I believe this experience gave me the opportunity to master new skills and was beneficial for both my personal and professional growth. The skills I learned during my industrial placement also came in handy while working on my Final year Project.
What I learned from my course definitely helped me learn things faster during my internship as Monash had helped me build a solid foundation. As a result, I did not face any difficulties with work during my internship.
What did you enjoy most about your student life?
All the people I met, the lasting friendships, the spontaneous travelling and the countless amazing memories. I truly had an exceptional university life.
What are your career goals?
I plan to gain a couple of years of valuable work experience before I pursue a master’s degree. I have amazing mentors at the organisation I am working at and I plan to learn as much as possible from them. I believe artificial intelligence will revolutionise the world and I want to be a part of it. My ultimate goal is to do something that will benefit mankind immensely and I plan to work passionately and dedicate myself to that.
